The City of Centennial’s Call Center received its 100,000th phone call today, since being established July 2008. The 24-hour, seven-day-a week call center serves as a single point of contact for all residents’ questions and work requests.

South Suburban Parks and Recreation and the City of Centennial are once again partnering for the 5th Annual Centennial Spring Fling scheduled for Saturday, May 12. Centennial Spring Fling immediately follows the 31st Annual High Line Canal Run at deKoevend Park in Centennial. The High Line Canal’s 10K run begins at 8 a.m. with the 5K walk/run beginning at 9 a.m. and Centennial Spring Fling starting at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Be sure to stick around for the kids fun run/walk at 12:00 p.m. and a Zumba demonstration at 12:30 p.m. This FREE event is designed as an interactive festival for children of all ages to enjoy.

The City of Centennial Youth Commission is seeking applicants. The Commission is composed of eleven teens from the City of Centennial, ranging in age from 13 to18.
